AirDoctor KFT-22M non-contact infrared thermometer, allowing you to measure body temperature on the forehead or in the ear. The device allows you to measure the temperature of an object, e.g. milk, bath and room. The measurement is precise and very fast, 1 second is enough to check the temperature. The AirDoctor KFT-22M device has a large, legible display, which is illuminated with 3 colors, so the thermometer can be used by the elderly and visually impaired. When the measurement result is lower than 37.4 ° C, the screen will illuminate green. The yellow backlight indicates a subfebrile state and appears when the result is in the range of 37.5 ° C-37.9 ° C. The red backlight informs about a high fever, the result above 38 ° C. The memory of the last 10 results allows for accurate temperature analysis. Another advantage of the device is a comfortable pistol grip, fully adapted to the shape of the hand. Additionally, the device turns off automatically after 25 seconds.

Application
For non-contact measurement of body temperature on the forehead and in the ear, ambient/surface.

Ear temperature measurement:

• When the display shows the time, press the SCAN button.
• After two short beeps for 3 seconds, the last measurement result will be displayed together with °C or °F.
• The ear icon will also be visible.
• The scale indicator (°C or °F) will flash.
• Then insert the probe into the ear and press SCAN.
• The probe will automatically scan the ear membrane and measure its temperature (the start of the measurement will be signaled by a short beep).
• After the measurement is finished, the thermometer will make a long beep (do not remove the sensor from the ear until then), and the result will be shown on the display screen.

Forehead temperature measurement:

• Put the probe cap on the probe, which is useful for this method of temperature measurement.
• When the display shows the time, press the SCAN button. After two short beeps for 3 seconds, the last measurement result will be displayed together with °C or °F.
• Press the MODE button to switch the thermometer to forehead measurement mode.
• Place the thermometer with the tip against the forehead and press SCAN. The probe will automatically scan the forehead temperature (the start of the measurement will be signaled by a short sound).
• After the measurement is complete, the thermometer will make a long sound (do not remove the sensor from the forehead until then), and the result will be shown on the display screen.

Additional information
