How to use BOCIOLAND bags to freeze food:

• Wash your hands thoroughly, then spread the bag on a clean, stable surface. Mark the date and time of expressing the milk in the designated place to make it easier to check the freshness of the food.
• Cut off the top edge of the bag (in the place marked on the packaging).
• After cutting off the top of the seal, gently open the double string closure and pour the expressed milk into the bag, not exceeding the maximum capacity of 200 ml. Mark the amount of milk on the packaging scale to know what volume is in a given bag (milk changes its volume after freezing).
• Then close the bag carefully, pressing the double string zipper along its entire length to prevent leakage and the penetration of odours.
• Place the bag in the freezer in a vertical or horizontal position, depending on the space available. For best quality, store the milk at -20°C and store for a maximum of 3-6 months.
• Defrosting: Before use, it is best to defrost the milk slowly, leaving it in the refrigerator for a few hours. Alternatively, you can use a water bath at a temperature no higher than 50°C. Do not use a microwave!
• Preparation for serving: Cut off one of the marked corners of the bag with scissors to create a convenient funnel, making it easier to pour the milk into the bottle without the risk of spilling.

Note: BOCIOLAND bags are intended for single use – they must not be re-frozen or used. Leftover milk not used during feeding should be thrown away.
