Safety
The non-contact GIOfast thermometer is a certified medical device that enables accurate and safe measurement of body temperature in adults and children. A high level of safety is ensured by modern infrared reception technology. The non-contact measurement method prevents the reproduction of viruses, bacteria and other microorganisms. It does not require disinfection and decontamination, which allows many people to be examined in a short time without the risk of transmitting diseases. It is used in medical facilities, clinics and hospital wards.

Measurement accuracy
The GIOfast thermometer is equipped with a technologically advanced infrared sensor that ensures high measurement accuracy with an error tolerance of up to ±0.2°C. Automatic calibration guarantees stability and repeatability of measurements.

Comfort of use
The ergonomic shape of the handle and the speed of measurement lasting approx. 1 second ensure high comfort of use of the device. The correct interpretation of measurement results will be ensured by a colour display informing about fever and an audible signal. If the distance from the forehead exceeds 3 cm, a message will appear on the display to reduce the distance. Thanks to the high-quality laser sensor, the thermometer will neutralise the error caused by an inappropriate measurement distance. An additional convenience for the user is the built-in sensor indicating the need to replace the batteries with new ones.

Functionality
In addition to body temperature (measurement on the forehead), the GIOfast thermometer can also measure the temperature of objects, including liquids and food in the range of 0 ° C – 100 ° C. A particularly useful function for parents of small children, with which they can measure the temperature of bath water, milk or soup, without worrying about scalding their little one. The profiled V-shaped sensor opening ensures better collection of the reflected infrared beam for more accurate measurement. An additional advantage of the device is the built-in memory card recording the last 30 measurements, which will make it easier to monitor the health of a sick person.

Energy saving
To extend battery life, when the thermometer is not in use, it will automatically turn off after 30 seconds by going into sleep mode.
