The latest Dr Brown’s Options+ bottles give parents the option to choose how they feed their baby. The patented vent system allows you to feed your baby with a Dr Brown’s bottle with or without a vent system. The bottle has a new teat shape that resembles a mother’s breast.

We recommend using the Dr Brown’s vent system when feeding so that your baby can experience all the health benefits:

• the vent system prevents air bubbles from forming in the milk, preventing colic, burping and gas build-up
• the patented vent system effectively reduces oxidation of breast milk and formula, which helps maintain essential nutrients such as vitamins C, A and E and lipids (based on a university study)
• the full vent system of the bottle allows for vacuum-free feeding, similar to breastfeeding. Some parents find that as the baby gets older and more developed, removing the vent gives an additional option for feeding with the Dr. Brown’s bottle
• provides a feeding experience similar to most bottles that have a vent in the nipple
• the vent in the nipple creates a flow rate
